An Axbridge father of four, whose wife was on the flight today criticised the lack of information. Mr. Eddie Hopkin, whose wife, Brenda, organised the trip for Axbridge Ladies Guild, said: “I have no news of what has had happened to my wife. A great deal of anxiety is being caused because the full list of the names of survivors has not even published. “People want to know. Not having information, is driving me up the wall ” And Mrs. Jill Helps, who runs the post office “It is said: certainly, a bewildered village. There is confusion which we hope will removed very quickly.”
